Lois Irene Love, age 67, of Galax, VA passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021 at the Woltz Hospice House in Dobson, NC.

Lois was born on September 28, 1954 in Galax, Virginia to Early Boyd and Virginia Alene Roberts Thomason Sr.

She is survived by her husband Edwin James Love of Galax, VA; mother Virginia Alene Thomason of Galax, VA; daughter Courtney Rae Love of Galax, VA; son Christopher Patrick Love of Galax, VA; son and daughter-in-law Kevin Shayne and Darlene Love of Hillsville, VA; four grandchildren Carli, Casen, Brealeigh, and Mason Love of Galax, VA; brothers and sisters-in-law Boyd and Cathy Thomason Jr. of Galax, VA and James and Lisa Thomason of Galax, VA; Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her father Early Boyd Thomason Sr. and daughter Christina Hope Love.

The funeral service will be held Monday November 22, 2021 at 2:00PM in the Trinity Baptist Church with Brother Garry Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until time of the service at the church.
