Lois Hines' Obituary
Lois Hines, 86, formerly of Hillsville and Galax, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Independence, Virginia. Ms. Hines was born September 6, 1926 in Carroll County to the late Irvin and Mintie Bryant Worrell.
She is survived by four daughters: Maxine Boggs of Galax, Virginia; Cheryl Bowman of Greensboro, North Carolina; Susan Chappell of Centreville, Virginia; and Kathy Alley of Independence, Virginia, seven grandchildren: Travis Alley, Rhonda Bowman, Stephanie Bowman, Kerri and Chris Porter, Zachary Porter, Rachel Porter and Rhiannon Hunter, six great grandchildren. Two sisters June Donithan of Galax, Virginia and Goldie Frost of California also survive along with several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Williams Cemetery, Woodlawn, Virginia with Elder Edward Bowman officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Vaughan-Guynn is serving the Hines family.
