Lois Marie Gallimore age 92 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Gallimore was born in Kentucky on June 28, 1930 to Orville and Orphia Wolford Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Elwood Carico, Muncie Hampton and Charlie Gallimore; daughter Faye Moser; grandchildren Teresa Moody and William Moser; sisters Brenda Richardson and Barbara Melton and a brother Bobby Jones.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Sandra and David Moser; Pam and Greg Carico all of Fries, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law William Bradley Hampton; Jeff and Linda Hampton all of Galax, Virginia; Kenneth Hampton; Terry and Debbie Hampton all of Fries, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Glenna Bartlett; Joyce and Joe Smith all of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sister -in-law Jimmy and Kathy Jones; Freddie Jones all of Galax, Virginia; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren;  one step-grandchild; seven step great-grandchildren;  several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at the Centerview Holiness Church with Pastor Greg Carico; Pastor Brian Frazier and Brother BoBo Gravley officiating. Burial will follow in the Carico Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Centerview Holiness Church.
