"L.J." Lindsey Jefferson Creed's Obituary
Lindsey Jefferson Creed Better Known as L. J., age 62, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at his home. He was born July 30, 1951 to the late Maggie Jane McRoberts Creed and Lindsey McClure Creed.
L. J. is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruby and James Norman, Holly Carr all of Galax, Virginia; Gladys Lanoria and Archie Slater of King, North Carolina; and Teresa Sexton of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Barry Newman officiating. Burial will follow in the Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time.
Flowers are appreciated or donations may be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice, 1477 Carrollton Pike, Hillsville, VA 24343
