Linnie was born in Maryland on November 3, 1958.
He is survived by his children London Michelle Edwards, Joshua David Newman, Linnie Keaton Newman; father and step-mother Dylis and Virginia Faye Newman of Woodlawn, Virginia; his birth mother Nancy Lee Gullion of Maryland; sister Nancy Dawn Newman of Woodlawn, Virginia; brother Anthony Dean "Tony" Newman of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren; one step-granddaughter.
The service will be held privately by the family.
