Linnie Mae Spicer Baumgardner went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Mrs. Baumgardner was 84 having been born March 1, 1931 in North Carolina to the late Lloyd Spicer and Susan Waddell Spicer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Baumgardner.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Tammy B. & Doil Ammons of Hickory, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Eddie and Martha Baumgardner of Galax, Virginia ; granddaughter and husband Paige and Chris Sigmon; great grandchildren Addisyn Sigmon and Liam Sigmon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Randy J. Key and Pastor Keith Ledford officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday (July 24, 2015) evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and friends may also call at the home of Eddie and Martha Baumgardner, 116 North View Street, Galax, Virginia.
