Linda Sue Burnette

Linda Sue Burnette age 82 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Linda was born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 29, 1944 to Glenn W. and Juanita Newman Burnette.

She is survived by her brother Larry Burnette; sister and brother-in-law Josephine and Gilbert Perry all of Galax, Virginia; one niece Rhonda Perry of Wyoming; one nephew and wife Jason and Stephanie Burnette of Woodlawn, Virginia; one great-nephew Seth Branscome.

Linda is also survived by two very special children Elle Lyons and Asher Mitchell, whom she had the joy of caring for and watching grow over the years.

Per Linda’s wishes there will no services held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Twin County Humane Society, P.O. Box 125, Hillsville, Virginia 24343.
