Linda Isom Sawyers age 67 of Allisonia, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Linda was born in Galax, Virginia on April 10, 1951 to Bernice and Ruby Edwards Isom.

She is survived by her husband Steve C. Sawyers of Allisonia, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Sherry Combs of Tobaccoville, North Carolina; Bridget and Michael Parnell of Hillsville, Virginia; two grandchildren Dustin Isom and Christopher Isom; two great-grandchildren; Makenna and Grayson; sisters and brothers-in-law Becky and Greg Nelson of Shawsville, Virginia; Debbie and Ronnie Hoffman; Rita and Robert Fender all of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Gary (Buster) and Brenda Isom of Galax , Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with  the  Rev. Jerry Sawyers and the Rev. David Sawyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home
