Linda Joyce Rutherford Richardson age 61 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 23,2009 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Linda was born on January 21,1948 in Galax, Virginia to Thomas & Ila Faye Galyean Rutherford. In addition to her mother Ila Faye Higgins of Galax, Va. Linda is survived by her daughter Erin D. Wagg of Galax,Va.; son & daughter-in-law Thomas E. & Laurie Kimmel of Winston-Salem, N.C.; grandson Shelton K. Wagg ; sisters & brothers-in-law Bonnie & Gary Brock of Lexington, Kentucky; Kathy & Larry Murphy of Blountville, Tennessee; several nieces & nephews. The service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Monta Vista Mausoleum with Rev. Larry Murphy and Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
