Linda Lou Poole age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her home.

Linda was born in Surry County, North Carolina on February 15,1943 to James and Mazie Ella Edwards Merideth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Randolph Pooole.

She is survived by two sons Tim Ayers and Arthur Ayers both of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law April and Adam Oakley of Hillsville, Virginia; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Jollie of Galax, Virginia; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 4:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Goad officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until time to leave for the graveside service at the cemetery.
