Linda Carol Patton Frazier passed away, after a long battle with cancer, at the Twin County Hospital.

Born in Grayson County, VA, Aug. 09, 1942 to Frances Carico Patton and Wilbert (Will) Patton, who preceded her in death. Also, preceding her in death, were grandparents, Larma and Harvey Carico and Aunt Margaret Carico.

Graduated from National Business in Roanoke. VA 1963 and went to work as secretary to the president of the Lutheran Synod of Virginia, in Roanoke. Met and married her husband April 08, 1964.

Moved to Fries in 1968 and worked at Galax Mirror Company, attaining the position of office manager before the company closed. Held several secretarial positions in Galax before going to work at Rooftop of Virginia. Retired from Rooftop as Intake Coordinator in Dec. 2015.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Wayne Frazier; her brother, Ronnie Patton; Cousin, Annette Pearman and a number of cousins. Friends include Velva Sue George, Cana, VA, Kinnie Shupe, Fries, VA, Lois Akers, Fries, VA, Phyllis Reed and, son, "Winky" Smith, Galax, VA, Opel Kegley, Woodlawn, VA, Tammy & Danny Webb, Hillsville, VA, Kay Anderson, Galax, VA and many acquaintances.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Atkins Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until time for the funeral service on Tuesday. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Lee Thomas.
