Linda Lou Isom Nichols age 70 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Linda was born in Galax, Virginia on October 24, 1943 to Bill and Nina Lawson Isom. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ray Felix Nichols; siblings Stella Lundy, Betty Isom and Kenneth Isom.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Rita and David Bolen of Fancy Gap, Virginia; two grandchildren Morgan Lyons and Burkley Lyons; two step-grandchildren Trevor Bolen and Ben Bolen; a brother and sister-in-law Ray and Brenda Isom of Galax, Virginia; special niece Dawn Isom; niece and nephews Wanda Lundy, Jimmy Lundy, Donald Lundy, Alan Lundy and Chad Lundy.
The funeral service will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Robert Smith and the Rev. Pamela Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
