Linda Kay Choate Bowers' Obituary
Linda Kay Choate Bowers, 63, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 30, 2015.
Linda was born November 13, 1952 in Alleghany County, North Carolina to the late Amos and Alease McPeak Choate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Lundy and brother Earl Ray Choate.
Linda is survived by her husband Eugene Bowers of the home; sons and daughter-in-law Gene and Becky Bowers and Jamie Bowers all of Galax, Virginia; grandson Jared Bowers; sister Lisa Walls of Hillsville, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Anthony and Clover Choate of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening (January 1) from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church.
