Linda Mae Alley, age 74, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday February 11, 2022 in Wythe County Community Hospital.

Linda was born on November 12, 1947 in Carroll County, Virginia to John and Lettie Taylor Alley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Margie Vaughan.

She is survived by her husband Jerrell Alley of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Johnny and Ashleigh Alley of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Jesse Alley, Ashley Alley, Jordan Alley, Johanna Alley, Jase Alley; and honorary grandchildren Beth Smythers, Dylan Smythers, and Marlee Cruise. Also surviving is her brother Randolph Graham of Galax; brother-in-law Ronnie Vaughan; special friend Doris Caudill; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday February 17, 2022 at 2:00PM in Alley Cemetery with Pastor Myron Dalton officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends in Alley Cemetery on Thursday from 1PM until time of the service.
