Lillian Winesett Liddle "Snookie" age 76 of Galax, Va. passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Liddle was born in Surry County, N.C. on April 24, 1932 to Daniel Alexander & Jettie Saniford Patterson Winesett. She is survived by her husband J.K. Liddle, Jr.; son & daughter-in-law Greg & Kay Liddle all of Galax, Va.; sisters & brothers-in-law Norma & Robert Higgins of Galax, Va.; Betsy & Melvin Spence of Va. Beach, Va.; Edie Swaim of Kingsport, Tennessee; brother, Charles Winesett of Pinnacle, N.C.; grandchildren. Travis & Evelyn Liddle of Independence, VA and Jason Liddle of Lynchburg, VA. several nieces & nephews; three step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law & spouse Becky & Ralph Williams of Roanoke, Va.; Mildred Liddle of Galax,Va.; brothers-in-law & spouses Dale & Margaret Liddle; Frank & Judy Liddle; Joe & Linda Liddle all of Galax, Va.. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 30, 2008 at 11:00 am at Mt. Vale United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Lindamood, Rev. Jack Edwards & Rev. Ernie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from seven until nine at Mt. Vale United Methodist Church.
