Lillian Lucille Bonn age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Bonn was born in Carroll County on September 23, 1928 to Roy and Hazel Combs Melton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Granville Bonn.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Susan and Herman Bartlett of Radford, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Joel and Carole Bonn of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Sarah Bartlett and Christopher Mason; Adam and Leigh Bartlett; two great-grandchildren Alexandra Lillian Bartlett; Sophie Elizabeth Bartlett; brothers and sisters-in-law Fredrick and Janet Melton of Galax, Virginia; Bill and Nancy Melton of Berea, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 3:00 in the Gladeville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 PM until time for  the funeral service at the Gladeville United Methodist Church.
