Lewis Jennings age 53 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Lewis was born in Grayson County, Va. on December 24,1954 to Arvin Edwin & Leonia Jennings Goins. He is survived by a son Kevin Taylor of Wytheville, Va.; mother Leonia McKinney of Galax, Va.; sisters Hazel McKinney, Rhoda Jean McKinney & Dorothy McKinney all of Galax, Va.; Marie Ramirez of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; brother Danny McKinney of Galax, Va.; several nieces & nephews; a host of aunts & uncles. A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Goins Cemetery with Pastor Sue Green; Rev. Jackie Reeves & Rev. Sidney Beamer officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
