Lewis Hicks Bourne age 75 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mr. Bourne was born on June 12, 1944 to Houston Hicks and Ruby Emma Davis Bourne.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Bourne of Fries, Virginia; children and spouses Donna and Mark Hawks of Galax, Virginia; Doyle and Tammy Bourne of Austinville, Virginia; Shonda and Greg Fowler of Buchanan, Virginia; Ruth Ring; James Dunn both of Wytheville Virginia; Lance and Katerina Bourne of Fries, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Rhea Bourne of Fries, Virginia; special grandson Isaiah; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Cold Springs United Methodist Church with Pastor Greg Burnett and Chad Shaffner officiating. Burial will follow in the Cold Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Cold Springs United Methodist Church.
