Lessie Lee Spencer age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Spencer was born in Grayson County, Virginia on November 7, 1939 to Conil and Gladys Billings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Spencer, sister Eva Billings and brother Larry Billings.

Mrs. Lessie loved to bake cakes and cookies and they were loved by all who were fortunate enough to get to eat them.

She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Troy and Rosalind Billings of Galax, Virginia; three sisters and brother-in-law Barbara and Mitchell Riggins of St. Roberts, Missouri; Norma Cournoyer and Frances Hart both of Galax, Virginia; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special cousin and best friend Rosie Mickey.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Dr. Ronny Harrison officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
