Leonard Clinton Wright, age 96 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 1,2021 at his home.

Mr. Wright was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on August 18,1924 to Julius Howard and Mary Kron Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Wright and a brother Howard Wright.

He proudly served his country in the US Navy.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Helen W and Richard M. Feete of Galax, Virginia; sons David H. Wright of Seattle, Washington and Donald C. Wright of Santa Fe, New Mexico; five grandchildren Kevin Wright, Russell Wright, Adrienne Wright, Kathleen Wright and James Feete; six great-grandchildren Katelyn Wright, Helena Wright Harper Wright, Alden Wright, Eleanor Zlotnikoz and Zachary Ettema.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
