Lena Bell Johnson Frost age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Frost was born on April 28, 1929 in Grayson County, Virginia to Sidney Henry and Nancy Alice Montgomery Johnson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Linnie Frost.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Vera and Bobby Anderson of Independence, Virginia; Mae and Barney Leonard of Galax, Virginia; Alice and Mike McMillian of Burlington, North Carolina; Lois and Roy Quesenberry of Blacksburg, Virginia; Joy and Eddie Shaw of High Point, North Carolina; sons and daughters-in-law Danny Robert and Nadine Frost of Independence, Virginia; Lee Travis and Brandy Frost of Galax, Virginia; sister Magdalene Mallory of Fries, Virginia; brother Vernon Johnson of Fries, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Midway Baptist Church with Pastor Myron Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until time for the funeral service at the Midway Baptist Church.
