Leland Michael Boyd 5 week old son of Clinton & Jessica Boyd of Galax, Va. passed away Sundy, June 28, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Leland was born on May 22, 2009 at Roanoke, Va..

In addition to his parents Leland is survived by his maternal grandparents Owen & Kathy Phillips of Newland, N.C.; Marvin & Amanda Manning of Galax, Va.; paternal grandparents Larry & Sandra Bunn of Galax, Va.; great-grandparents James Spicer of Rutherfordton, N.C.; Melvin Manning of Martinsville, Va.; Brenda Wyatt of Spartanburg, S.C.; Annabell Bunn of Galax, Va.; several aunts & uncles.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 1,2009 at 2:00 pm at Bishops Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from one until two at the church.
