Leff Woodrow Douglas, Jr. age 60 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. L.W. was born on May 5, 1948 in Galax, Va. to Leff Woodrow Douglas, Sr. & Margie Melton Douglas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Charolet Douglas; sisters Shirley Marion and Peggy Martin. He is survived by a daughter & son-in-law Heather & Doug Webb of Galax, Va.; sisters Darlene Douglas & Carolyn Rose both of Galax, Va.; two grandchildren Jade Webb & Logan Webb; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ron Fredericks and Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
