Lawrence Jennings' Obituary
Lawrence Jennings age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 in the Blue Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Jennings was born on September 15,1938 in Grayson County, Virginia to Thomas and Ruby Goins Jennings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters and eight brothers.
He is survived by sisters and brother-in-law Francis Thompson of Elk Creek, Virginia; Hazel Ferguson of Florida; Christine Maxwell; Louise and William Willis of Galax, Virginia; brothers Ralph Kyle of Galax, Virginia; Leon Jennings of Brooklyn, New York; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; several cousins.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 5,2015 at 2:00 PM in the Goins Cemetery with the Rev. Daryl Beamer, Sr. officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
