Lawrence Clifton Hylton age 91 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.
Mr. Hylton was born on February 24, 1926 in Floyd, Virginia to Otey and Leona Dalton Hylton.
He is survived by his wife Laura Weddle Hylton of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Roseanna and Donald Peters; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Cindy Hylton all of Floyd, Virginia; grandchildren Stacie Smith and Sean Peters both of Floyd, Virginia; Ariel Bethell of Riner, Virginia; great-grandchildren Silas Bethell; Katie Webb; Amanda Smith and Larry Ray Smith; great-great-grandchildren Kaylee Smith and Hunter Smith.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Eddie Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery in Willis, Virginia. The family ill receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
