Lawrence Allan Horton age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, January 24, 2025  in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Mr. Horton was born in Carroll County, Virginia on April 13, 1940 to Leonard Columbus and Eva Mae Horton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Cynthia Gale Horton and brother Ronnie Lee Horton.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years Linda Faye Largen Horton; sister-in-law Goldie Horton; three nephews Dean Horton; Dusitn L. Horton of Doug L. Horton.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dean Horton and Pastor Theron Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
