Chris Cochran age 48 of Galax, Va. passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 in Twin County Regional Hospital. Chris was born on March 27,1959 in Galax, Va. to Giles Fulton & Faye Pillow Cochran. In addition to his mother of Galax, Va. he is survived by a daughter Lauren Cocharan of Laurel Fork, Va.; son Christopher Cochran of Low Gap, N.C.; brothers & sisters-in-law Phillip & Terrie Cochran of Roanoke, Va.; Dr. William Albert & Dinah J. Moser of Daleville, Va.; one niece; two nephews and one great-niece. The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 4,2007 at 2:00 pm in Snow Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ernie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery with Elk Rites by Galax Elks Lodge # 2221. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Galax Elks Lodge Children's Christmas Fund.
