Laurel Frances Cox's Obituary
Laurel Frances Cox age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Cox was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 11, 1937 to Elmer and Ella Mae Thomason Burcham. In addition to her parents Elmer Burcham and Ella Mae Thomason Burcham Hawkins she was preceded in death by her husband Buford Cox.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Mary and James Roberts of Fancy Gap, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Nancy Hawkins of Trinity, North Carolina; Cecil and Peggy Hawkins of Galax, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the River Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Tolley officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
