Laura Jamalee Nichols, age 90, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday September 24, 2021 in her home.

Jamalee was born on June 15, 1931 in Carroll County, Virginia to Lebert and Carrie Redd Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Houston Nichols.

She is survived by her daughter Dreama Reynolds of Ennice, North Carolina; grandson and his wife Robbie and Brandi Reynolds; great-grandchildren Chase Burke, Rayne Reynolds, and Bailey Reynolds. Also surviving are brother and sister-in-law Butch and Betty Richardson of Galax, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at 3:00 PM in Monta Vista Cemetery with Greg Edwards officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
