Larry Douglas Wooten age 53 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Larry was born on November 3, 1958 in Galax, Virginia to William Junior and Cora Mae Alderman Wooten.
In addition to his mother Cora Mae Wooten of Galax, Virginia, Larry is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Tina and Eddie Alley of Pilot, Virginia; grandchildren Nicholas Alley, Brayden Alley, Brody Alley and Keaton Alley; brothers and sisters-in-law Danny Ray and Hilda Wooten of Hillsville, Virginia; Scottie and Josie Wooten, Jessie and Cindy Wooten all of Galax, Virginia; nephews Lester Wooten, Justin Wooten, Andrew Wooten and Jarod Wooten.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Norman Goad and Rev. Gary Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from ten until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
