Larry Temple Johnson age 68 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at his home.
Larry was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 25, 1947 to Troy Albert and Ailene Virginia Christley Johnson.
Larry proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Johnson of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Barbara Ann and Larry Patton of Rural Retreat, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Donnie and Barbara Johnson of Fries, Virginia; Wayne Johnson of Independence, Virginia; Allen and Minnie Lou Johnson; Jimmy and Carol Johnson all of Sparta, North Carolina; special niece and husband Jackie and Gerald Horton; two special great-nieces Tori Johnson and Leah Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
