Larry Dean Taylor age 60 of Cana, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his home.

Larry was born in Pearisburg, Virginia on September 15, 1957 to Lester and Nannie McMillian Taylor.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and dear friend to so many. He will be dearly missed. Those left to cherish his memory are
daughters and son-in-law Whitley Taylor and Travis Marshall of Elkin, North Carolina; Brittni Vickers of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren Sophie Vickers of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Camden Taylor and Tekoa Marshall of Elkin North Carolina; sister and brother-in-law Deborah and Dean Oakley of Woodlawn, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Bobby Taylor of Hillsville, Virginia; Dennis Taylor of Austinville, Virginia; Ronnie and Jane Taylor of Woodlawn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; a dear friend and the mother of his children, Anja Spurlin.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Midway Heights Community Church with the Rev. Randy Morris officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Midway Heights Community Church. At the request of Larry his body will be cremated after the funeral service.
