Larry Edward Noel was born August 6th, 1946 in Richlands, VA to his parents, Thomas R. and Pansy Noel. He departed this life at the age of 69 on Sunday evening, August 30th 2015 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, VA after a brief illness.

Larry spent the majority of his adult life in and around Galax, VA. He worked for a time as a truck driver and at various other jobs before joining the Western Steer restaurant chain and eventually becoming a Regional Manager. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Pansy Ousley.

He is survived by his father, Thomas R. Noel of Huntsville, AL, formerly of Bluefield, WV; a son, Nathan M. Noel and a daughter, Jessica. Larry is also survived by three brothers: Timothy (& Shelia) Noel of Huntsville, AL; David (& Nancy) Noel of Friendsville, TN; and Darrel Noel. He also had several nieces and nephews. Larry also leaves behind a longtime cherished friend, Mark Van Hoy, who assisted him greatly during the last few years.

Larry's wishes for cremation are being honored and a memorial service is not being planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to offset Larry's final expenses.
