Larry Stuard Hackler age 77 of King, North Carolina and formerly of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Universal Healthcare of King in King, North Carolina.

Mr. Hackler was born in Grayson County, Virginia on June 14, 1941 to Clarence and Lula Mae Parks Hackler. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma JoAnn Harrison Hackler.

He proudly served his country in the US Army.

He is survived by his son Steve Hackler of King, North Carolina and one grandson Milo Hackler; several nieces, nephews and special family members.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Eddie Bailey and Jackie Delp officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Military Rites will be conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726.
