Larry Wayne Gravely age 66 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Larry was born in Virginia on September 26, 1945 to George Dewey and Lyndell "Lois" Cregger Gravely. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Ricky Gravely; two brothers Bill and Arlen Gravely and step-brother Brian Keith Gravely.
He is survived by his wife Valerie Gravley of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law Lyndell and Roger Lemons of Galax, Va.; Kathy and Ronnie Rakes of Barren Springs, Va.; Theda and Clyde Light of Christiansburg, Va.; step-brothers Doug Coble, Eugene Gravely and Tony Gravely; several very special nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the home of Sandra and Leon Arvizo on Gambetta Road Wednesday through Friday.
