Larry Dwayne Lineberry known as Bear Lineberry age 51 of Independence, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021  in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Bear was born on October 22, 1969 in Martinsville, Virginia to Willard Calvin Lineberry, Sr. and Patsy Ann Huffman Lineberry Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Lineberry and brother Calvin Lineberry.

He is survived by his step-children Patricia Bowen; son and fiancee' Anthony Bobbitt and Jessica McLain; son and daughter-in-law Robin and Erica Bobbitt all of Independence, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Jackie and Barry Vaughan of Independence, Virginia; Regina (Sally) and Billy Towler of Fries, Virginia; nine grandchildren; three nephews; two nieces; six great-nieces; two great-nephews; several other family members.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:30 in the Liberty Hill Cemetery with Pastor Junior Bullion officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
