Larmie Mae Hall, 89, of Galax, Virginia passed away at her home Friday, October 31, 2014. Mrs. Hall was born April 10, 1925 in Grayson County to the late Herbert Sidney Ballard and Gertie Patton Ballard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson Sammy Brown and great granddaughter Ella Grace Hall.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, Oscar Hall of the home; one daughter Doris Brown of Galax, Virginia; two sons and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Patricia Hall of Galax, Virginia, and Dallas Hall also of Galax. Two granddaughters and spouses Katrina and Richie Farmer, Karen and Brian Lee; one grandson and spouse Scott and Sara Hall along with seven great grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Mount Pisgah Church of Christ, 716 Fries Road, Galax, Virginia with Marvin Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Worrell Cemetery, Expansion Road, Hillsville, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening November 2, 2014 from 6 until 8:00 PM at the Mount Pisgah Church of Christ.
