Kimberly Dawn McCormick Redd age 49 of Statesville, North Carolina passed away Friday July 27, 2018 at her home.

Kimberly was born on December 10, 1968 in Lexington, North Carolina to Jerry Wayne and Patricia Ann Wynn McCormick. She was preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her husband Tony Redd of Statesville, North Carolina; daughter Lana Ann Redd of Jonesville, North Carolina; father and step-mother Jerry and Trish McCormick of Fries, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Traci and Rick Hawks of Midlothian, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Jeremy and Kristi McCormick of Hidden Valley, Virginia; nieces and nephews Darien (Ethan) Hash; Madison (Jared) Hash; Braedyn McCormick; Gannon McCormick; Addie McCormick; McKenna Burcham; Taylor Hawks and Caiden Hawks; great-nieces and great-nephews Ayla Hash; Kenslee Hash; Kaiser Hash and Kai Hawks.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Fries Baptist Church with Pastor Stacey Redd; Bill Ring; Pastor Johnny Young and the Rev. Tim Utt officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
