Kermit Claston Pearman age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Pearman was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 12, 1927 to Orville and Brooke Boyles Pearman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Farmer Pearman; daughter Connis S. Pearman and son Donnie Ray Pearman.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Jerry Carico; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Judy Pearman all of Galax, Va.; sister Ella Mae Kirby of Fries, Va.; grandchildren Linda Pearman, Joanie Cochran, Shawn Pearman, Christine Ring and Renee Pearman; step-grandchildren Rachel Fleeman and Savannah Murray; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends Jason and Sherry Felts & Mykalah
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with Pastor Tommy Vass officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 o'clock until service time at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.
