Obituary

On Friday, April 9, 2021, Kermit Eugene Graham (better known as Eugene Graham), loving husband, father, and grandfather, was welcomed into heaven at the age of 85.

Eugene was born in Pulaski County, Virginia on January 30, 1936 to William Albert and Orpah Marshall Graham. He graduated from Fries High School where he was a captain of the football team, met lifelong friends, and his wife of 64 years. On August 18, 1956 he married Dolores Ruth Campbell and together they raised two children, Suzanne and Alan.
Eugene had a passion for the outdoors where he enjoyed golf, hunting, and fishing. He was a devoted member of the Fries United Methodist Church. Eugene was a dedicated worker, with a passionate work ethic. His love for children was always evident no matter where he would be. Eugene had an unconditional love for his wife and his family, and never failed to express his love for them.

He is survived by his wife Dolores Campbell Graham; daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and Tony Iroler all of Fries, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Alan and Ann Graham of Elk Creek, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Melanie and James Dowell; Anthony Iroler; Brent and Kimberly Graham; Hannah Graham; four great-grandchildren Will Gravely; Jacob Dowell; Aalayah Graham and Kinsley Graham.

The funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Fries United Methodist Church with Mary Hessler and Brother Alan Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Fries United Methodist Church.
