Rev. Kermit Brown age 92 formerly of Galax, Va. passed away on February 28, 2007 in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary L. Brown. He is survived by his daughter Wanda Smith and his son K. Bradley Brown; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother William R. Brown and a host of relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 12:00 noon at Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
