Kenneth Lee Nelson age 49 of Fries, Va. passed away Thursday, September 6, 2007 in Twin County Regional Hospital. Kenneth was born on April 25,1958 in Galax, Va. to Kent D. & Ella Eastridge Nelson. He is survived by a son Douglas Lee Nelson of Galax, Va.; his sisters & brothers-in-law Frieda & Virgil Sexton of Fries, Va.; Carol & David Post of Ennice, N.C.; brothers & sister-in-law Ronnie Nelson, Ronald Nelson, William Dean & Barbara Bond all of Galax, Va.; Robert Nelson of Fries, Va.; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Claude Holderfield officiating. Burial will follow in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
