Kenneth Wayne Johnson age 65 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at his home.
He was born on November 27, 1951 in Carroll County, Virginia to Troy Albert and Ailene Virginia Christley Johnson.
He proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Mark and Crystal Johnson of Galax, Virginia; son and fiance' Aaron Johnson and Tina Williams; daughter and son-in-law Marie and Stephen Thomas all of Woodlawn, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Larry Patton of Groseclose, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Don and Barbara Johnson of Fries, Virginia; Allen and Minnie Lou Johnson; Jimmy and Carol Johnson all of Sparta, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the McKenzie Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Patton officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
