Kenneth Delane Carr's Obituary
Kenneth Delane Carr age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mr. Carr was born on April 14, 1939 in Grayson County, Virginia
to Donald and Evelyn Schuyler Carr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two daughters Rhonda Carr Shelton and Peggy McLean.
He is survived by his wife Holly Creed Carr of Galax, Va.; sons and daughter-in-law Rick and Mony Carr of Galax, Va.; Rick McLean of Independence, Va.; daughters and sons-in-law Jan Shaw and Roy Lee Bedsaul of Galax, Va.; Charlie and Nicky Johnson of Fountain Inn, S.C.; sister and brother-in-law Patsy and Charlie Bowman of Galax, Va; brother Louis Cunnington of California; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Sam Holder and Sammy Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
