Kenneth Wayne "K.B." Burcham, 75, of Galax, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday December 18, 2020. He was born in Carroll County on July 16, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Irene Leonard Burcham.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Ruth Burcham of the home; sons Derek (Lisa) Burcham of Woodlawn, Virginia, Travis Burcham of Kingsport, Tennessee; grandsons Dylan, Garrett, and Weston Burcham all of Woodlawn. Also surviving are stepchildren Dean Bedwell of Palm Beach, Florida, Missy Bedwell of Galax, Virginia, Mary Richardson of Speedwell, Virginia; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Kenneth lived in Carroll County his entire life. He was a retired business owner/truck driver as well as a farmer. He was a very devoted father, grandfather, and husband. He loved sharing his knowledge of farming with his grandsons to carry on and was so proud of their accomplishments in following his footsteps. They were his life and his pride and joy. He was a die-hard FORD fan and discussed that with anyone who would listen. He was a friend to one and all and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, even if he did not have one to put back on himself. If you knew Kenneth, you loved him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The graveside service will be held on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 11:00AM in Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Mark Mayes officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
