Kenneth Terry Brown age 81 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 in the Montgomery Regional Hospital.

Mr. Brown was born in Grayson County, Virginia on August 13, 1939 to Frank Isaiah and Mandy Laura Tolliver Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Cooper Brown, Alfred Brown, Clark Brown, Robert Brown, Russ Brown, Ruth Jenkins and Lillie Dorsey.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Brown of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Paul Brown and Johnnie of Dayton, Ohio; Jewel Brown and Verl; Stacy Brown and Tina all of Galax, Virginia; Sheila Young of Blacksburg, Virginia; Chris Brown and Kim of Bristol, Virginia; ten grandchildren Destiny Brown; Devin Brown, Byron "BB" Brown; DeRon Brown; Dameia Quevada; Brad Brown; Adrian "AJ" Brown; Gerrian Slater; Nigel Norman; Joshua Wells; sixteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Stella Brown of Galax, Virginia; Melba Peoples of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; brother-in-law John Henry Bryson; host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Evangelist Gloria Richardson and Bishop Barry Early officiating. Burial will follow in the Glades Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
