Kenneth Edwin Archer age 64 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at this home.

Kenneth was born in Galax, Virginia on October 17, 1960 to Jack Leon and Carol Jean Jackson Archer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Jackie Stamper; grandparents Bayne and Sue Archer; Albert and Viola Jackson and an aunt Betty Archer.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Taylor Archer of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Jill Archer of Galax, Virginia; Casey Carlson and Stuart of Roanoke, Virginia; Kenneth Edwin Archer II and Rachel of Galax, Virginia; siblings and spouses Benny Archer and wife of Brush Creek; Jimmy Archer and Mary of Stuart, Virginia; Susie Dye of Brush Creek; seven grandchildren Trey, Eden, Eli, Jolene, Ripken, Lorelei and Zyla; aunts and uncle Ruth Bova and Bill; Anne Whitlock; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with family members officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
