Katrina Renee' Higgins age 18 of Floyd, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Willis, Virginia.

Katrina was born in Galax, Virginia on August 14, 2002 to Dana Ervin and Amy Elizabeth Sykora Higgins.

She is survived by her mother Amy Higgins of Willis, Virginia; father Dana Higgins of Galax, Virginia; sister Alisha Higgins of Willis Virginia; paternal grandmother Janie Higgins of Galax, Virginia; maternal grandparents Phillip and Carol Sykora of Louisville, Kentucky; great-grandmother Betty James of Willis, Virginia; uncle and aunt Terry and Betsy Higgins of Galax, Virginia; aunt and uncle Karen and Randal Long of Fayetteville, North Carolina; great-aunt Carol Futchko of Dugspur, Virginia; first cousins Raymond Higgins (Crystal); Randall Higgins; special friends Gail and Eric Carr;  Kim Bullard; several other cousins, great- aunts, great-uncles and friends.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Mindy Chaffin and Chuck Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully donations be made to the rescue and care for abandoned animals.
