On Saturday, August 30th after 72 years, the man upstairs called for Kathleen Kerntke She leaves behind her husband of nearly 25 years Richard Allen Kerntke of VA, daughter Yvonne Westfall of NH, step-children Andria Richmond of MD, Michelle Christy of FL, Amanda Free of AL, Christopher Kerntke of NC, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren as well as her siblings Ethel Barrick, Maureen Disney, Mary Crowley, Henry Crowley and Erin Wiedermann all of MD.

Kathy's welcoming committee for her new adventure include her parents Tom & Carmen Crowley, her brothers Tommy Jr and Robert, her grandson Ian Mathews and many other loved ones who've been taken too soon.

She was a social butterfly who enjoyed shooting pool, spending time with family and friends, and just about anything summer related.

We know Kathy will be missed by many and invite you to join us in saying farewell,  sending her off on this next journey. She will be laid to rest in Virginia where she resided with her husband.

The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday at 3:30 PM at the Liberty Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating.
