Kathleen Marie Byrd Jennings' Obituary
Kathleen Marie Byrd Jennings, 86, of Wytheville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 , at her residence. Mrs. Jennings was born March 1, 1928 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Otho Herman Byrd and Mary Lipinski Byrd.
She is survived by her husband Allen P. Jennings of the home; daughter and son-in-law Mary and James Akers of Wytheville.
The funeral service will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel at 12 Noon with Rev. Judy Yonce officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association, 3140 Chaparral Drive, Building C Suite 106 Roanoke, Virginia 24018.
